Plot
A personal trainer who suffers from an injury is hired by an overweight woman to help her with health issues. As they spend  time together, they fall in love and learn to deal with their problems.

I'll begin this review by adding that i'm an absolute huge fan of k-dramas. Of course I've watched my fair share of em including those cringe-worthy low budget ones which make you question why you are actually hooked to it and you cannot find a definite answer. Among the endless pit (that's my literary side speaking ya'll) of k-dramas you find rare gems and this show is one of those highly entertaining precious gems which will make you laugh and cry at the same time. I swear to God this show made me feel like it was that time of the month again although i managed to have one of those stupid smiles plastered on my face. Thank Goodness my roommate went home or else i would have been admitted to a psych ward with all the weird expressions i was making and those choking sounds i call laughter.

My taste in dramas have evolved or so i like to think. Definitely over high school dramas and more into the 'adult' kind. None of those accidentally brushing of lips which are labelled as kisses. Although its ironic because in oh my venus their first "kiss" is actually that. Well we cant have our cake and eat it too. Cheers to the writers fro managing to write a surprisingly likable female character and a Hero who is unafraid to show his feelings to the heroine. Plus , surprisingly no stupid exes (apart from the heroine's ex) who create unnecessary incessant drama. #dramafree
Great performance by all the cast though i'm definitely partial to So-Ji-Sub. Let me swim into your eyes boo. Award winning stellar performance he did give. "Like, if you cry eyerytime" ya hear me!BTW There's still two more episodes left so i hope the writers better write a damn good ending or i'm swearing off kdramas for life.
Give this drama a try. I swear you wont be disappointed.

I know I know, It’s taken a (very)long time to post my haul. I’ve shopped a lot these past few weeks but I’m not gonna show those old old pictures of thrifted clothes. Maybe sometime in the future but it sure is tedious taking photos of clothes I’ve already worn numerous times. It just loses its appeal you know. Despite it being summer I've managed to buy another oversized denim jaket, a parka jacket. Already prepping up for winter ya know.

On a SUPERNATURAL marathon. First season was scary as fuck, the rest not so much but you get my point. Team Dean Winchester here people!

I’ve been promising to post my haul pictures but I never got the time ,with classes and TV marathons. Might post it this week but I’ll rain check that.
And am I the only one fangirling over the Heroes reboot. It was fate when i found the top from one of my recent thrifting trips. Totally worth it.

Saotage. Never understood the huballoo about it until it happened recently from people i considered family. It makes me so mad to think that there are calculating greedy, ruthless people out there with no qualms about whether their actions affect others. Living in a den filled with poisonous snakes does take its toll on you. These toxic relationships have made bitter persons of people i love. Sometimes you realize that water can be thicker than blood and hope that karma bites those snakes in the arse and soon.
There goes my rant as does most of my anger.

Ripped jeans are everywhere and to be honest I think I’m kind of late in the Diy bandwagon. But... i couldn’t not go without sharing the easiest diy which is as easy as eating pie...no extra labour required.
Things you’ll need – Scissors, Tweezers, Pencil or pen for markings, an old pair of jeans
Frayed hem
Step 1 : Mark the jeans and cut it with the scissors at the length you want

Step 2 :  Use your hand and tweezers to remove the thread as shown below
Step 3: Once you’ve reached the frayed style you like ,you will want to cut off the excess treads (I prefer to keep them a bit long to give off that roughly done style but its upto you if you want them long or short)

RIPPED KNEES
This style has roughly the same procedure but requires a bit of patience
Step 1 : Mark the jeans at the knees (you can do it right at the middle or above the knee)

Step 2 : Start cutting it but unlike the frayed hem you should be careful that it does not literally reach the edge of the jeans. Try to put a distance of 1 or 2 inches on both sides of the knee. Use the tweezers to remove the threads

Step 3: If you just want a clean cut knee style then just remove a few threads and you’ll be done but if you want the style as shown below keep on using the tweezers and don’t try to cut the thread and voila you have one of the best if not badass looking ripped jeans.

Warning: If you’re doing this for the first time i recommend using an old pair of jeans for a first attempt. If it doesn’t turn out as shown its ok, patience and numerous attempts is the key .

My stress level’s down, like way down because -
a) Exams are over, no matter how shitty my performance was and
b) I’m back to HOME SWEET HOME for a month and a half which basically my brain and body interprets it to “Honey, you can sleep and eat and lie around all day”. I.KID.YOU.NOT.  And to be honest i deserve it after the hectic semester which will continue again. *groan*
You can never have enough of a good thang going can you? I must be getting better at my rhetoric's.
Outfit for my dentist appointment. Hate the “remove shoes” part so slipped my feet into these babies, super cheap and comfy after the initial few blisters ;D

In other news playing dress up with roommates can be fun, especially when you happen to own a pair of matching dungarees bought at the same thrift market. Huzzah. And for the love of laidback style, cheers to coca cola tees and loose trousers for those hot humid summers. And speaking of thrift markets, I’m still angry at myself for not buying a pair of perfect topshop sandals at a throwaway price. I hesitated and 5 minutes later the sandal in my size was gone. I could not and would not live that down. Word of advice “If you like it, just buy it for the sake of your sanity”

Its summer now and I’m not too ecstatic about it. The heat, the heat, the heat. I swear, it’s so hot that even the air burns. It’s a nightmare to live in the city during summer if you don’t have ac ( lousy student budget). I just cannot wait to finish my semester exams and fly away to my hometown where it’s cool and most probably rains 24/7. Gah! There can never be a perfect weather. Its either too hot or too cold....

Everyone had a good easter week or what?
This Sunday was quite a misadventure. Almost ended up on four different easter services held in the same neighborhood with a pal until we found the one we were invited to. It sounded more funny in my head but it was so awkward realizing you were in the wrong place at the wrong service.
OHMYGAWD. Why had I not discovered ‘Blue’ by Big Bang three years ago. It’s seriously on the replay mode which is making my roommate go crazy. bwaHaha. I cannot for the life of me understand my yearly obsession phase with anything Korean entertainment-ty.

Any Person of Interest fans out there? Love love that show. Its the waiting that kills. I hope the machine defeats Samaritan and end the deus ex machina thingy. I can't even...
Plus cannot wait for the new season of GOT. I fully support Sansa. Do not gag when i say i love reading fan fiction on her and the hound. Its an obsession. Dont you dare roll eyes at me.

So much for having fun with words. Started taking up painting again because I needed a hobby besides reading and wanting to take up photography (I’m too poor to buy even a basic camera it seems). I recommend watching "Boyhood” not so much for the artistic vibes or because it took 12 years to film but because it captures the human essence of the journey from childhood to adulthood.

Spoiler: The most poignant scene has to be the implied physical abuse scene in the garage. It tugs the heartstrings.

Currently having an obsession with denim. Okay okay I admit it’s really a no brainer that I love my denim, but to be honest I usually limit those to jeans and a particular jacket. I sort of went overboard err out of my comfort zone and bought a pair of dungarees and a denim long dress. Initially thought of turning the dress into a smock but I kind of love the loose hippie vibes so, no altering. The dungarees were a bit loose but nothing I can’t handle. Is it also weird that I keep eyeing all things olive-colored? Bought this pair of Mango trousers from Myntra (A birthday gift or myself) and definitely one of my best sale finds ever. Sadly I seem to have grown thinner or maybe the sizes run bigger cause the smallest size was too loose and I don’t want to return it back because those trousers are to die for ya'll. It sucks but a trip to the tailor is happening.





And check out my nail polish collection. Not something to brag about but hey I rarely used polish so, it is a very big improvement. And yes I do tend to deviate towards the darker side of polish that is. Can’t help it.

I can’t actually call this throwback Thursday since it’s obvious that I’m posting on a Wednesday and even if I did, tbt rules that this cannot be a throwback because it was taken only last year. Plus I think Wednesdays are okay-ish because most of the time classes are off but it’s more like I dislike every day of the week except Saturdays. Scrooge Mcduck much! I’m blaming it on university.
